I've never been good at writing love poetry, So, this is not swiped 'just a little' from Grease :) But hey, I say imitation is the greatest form of flattery. So get flattered, Grease, and any other 50's style pop musicals. Here comes a lesbianish pop song...
Kylie, I lied.
Ki-yi-lie, I was blue, so I-yi-yi told you
I was fried, so I implied
I didn't want you for my bride.
Now night has gone, it's break of dawn
I know I was a foo-oo-ool,
Oh Ki-yi-lie, come back to me... I lied.
I lied to you, I didn't have a clue,
I didn't know I'd be denied.
I broke your trust, now I can't adjust,
please take me back, Kylie... I-yi lied.
Ki-yi-lie, I can't forget, the day I saw Annette.
You were sad, you cried, your eyes she dried,
so close I could have died.
But I was wrong, she was being strong
cos you were cry-yi-yi-yi ying,
over me, it's plain to see... I-I lied.
(Spoken)
Oh Kylie, I know I hurt you when I lied,
but you gotta believe, I never started out to deceive,
I was just trying to save some pride.
(Sung)
Ki-yi-lie, I was blue, so I-yi-yi told you
Didn't want this ride, not gonna be your bride,
but Ki-yi-yi-yi-yi-lie, I lied.
I lied to you, I didn't have a clue,
I didn't know I'd be curbside.
I broke your heart, just one place to start,
please take me back, Kylie... I lied.
